I joined CrossFit at the end of 2011 with my husband, Andrew. Although he initially pushed me to go, we had both been looking for a new place to work out; one that took us out of our comfort zone. CrossFit had us at Day one.
My main motivation to go to the gym is the constant pursuit to expand and improve my physical boundaries, while continuing to work towards a healthy lifestyle. CrossFit is a place where we have met some of our closest friends. For me, the community is also a top reason to I get up and go to the gym each day. What’s better than being challenged with a fun workout with your friends?!
When not at CrossFit, I love spending time with family and friends. We could do anything from a formal dinner to a relaxing gathering at the house, which usually ends with playing some sort of card game. I enjoy being outdoors, playing volleyball, and sometimes, just relaxing!
